Just two of a number of flyers and marketing materials I designed and produced while working at the Chicken Shed Theatre Company. This is some very early work, but I remain proud of it to this day. Perhaps partly due to me designing the flyers and marketing materials alongside the development of the shows. I was able to get them printed and produced on decent stock too, which meant they looked even better in real life.
I also designed and produced the accompanying programs and posters.
Both flyer designs were based on communicating key show principles and ideas. Globaleyes was all about communicating concepts of globalisation and conservation through dance and performance. With the Insect Play, I used inspiration from Russian constructivist posters to get the across and visualise the idea of the insect/human allegory present in the classic play. So, a face made of insects!
