A new responsive site for the Later Life Planning company that specialises in funeral plans.
The site was designed to be simple to use for a difficult to pin down target audience. This new site took a very different approach to that which the company was used to. This started with defining and creating a new site strategy and site architecture to create a completely new user experience. The idea was to make a new way to drive customers through the site regardless of what level of information they had. To get people to the right information, in as streamlined a way as possible, with the overall objective of driving people to the purchase funnel, armed with enough confidence to purchase.
A completely new quote tool was also required to cater for the variety of purchase options that Golden Charter offer as well as a custom created checkout flow based on key checkout principles.
A project as much about defining user experience as well as the actual design of the various interfaces needed for the various parts of the site.
The site continues to do well for Golden Charter, though the site is also constantly being developed and updated.
